When Will YOU Be Eligible for the COVID-19 Vaccination?

One question that is undoubtedly top of mind for most of us as we transition into 2021 is, “When will I be able to get the COVID-19 vaccination?” While the rollout of vaccinations isn’t currently happening as swiftly as had been expected, the process is in motion.
The Virginia Department of Health (VDH) has set criteria to determine when Virginians can be vaccinated based on recommendations from the CDC (which are based on risk assessments). During his January 6 Press Conference, Governor Ralph Northam indicated that localities have some discretion in how they deploy the vaccines.
VDH has a website that allows you to check which phase you are eligible for as well as what phase your locality is in. For additional information about the COVID-19 vaccination, please visit the VDH website’s COVID FAQs.
