Virginia REALTOR® Selected as Land REALTOR® of America
April 5, 2019
Bill Burruss, of the Lynchburg Association of REALTORS®, has been awarded the 2018 Land REALTOR® of America Award. This prestigious award nationally recognizes one member of the REALTORS® Land Institute (RLI) each year, honoring their efforts and work toward the betterment of their fellow members, their profession, and their community.
Burruss was presented the Award by 2018-19 National President Jeramy Stephens, ALC, at a special awards ceremony during RLI’s annual National Land Conference.
“This is an extremely humbling experience with so many great REALTORS® who have extended their education to assist land owners from around the United States,” said Burruss. He has served the real estate community by representing REALTORS® on local, state, and national boards and committees through the Lynchburg Association of REALTORS®, Virginia REALTORS®, and the National Association of REALTORS®.
Notably, Burrus was a member of the first class of the Virginia Leadership Academy in 2005.
