YOUR Chance to Shape the Future of Real Estate in Virginia
June 17, 2021
As REALTORS®, you are the ones who know your market the absolute best. And you know the issues that come up that can hinder how you and your colleagues do business. Let us know what you’re experiencing out there and submit your ideas on the Virginia REALTORS® website.
Each year the Virginia REALTORS® Public Policy Committee (PPC) embarks on the process to review, discuss, and recommend real estate-related legislative priorities for the next Virginia General Assembly session. The process begins with ideas being submitted by local associations and individual REALTORS®. Those ideas are researched and vetted by the PPC and Virginia REALTORS® staff. The Virginia REALTORS® Board of Directors ratifies the final version of the legislative agenda for introduction in the 2022 General Assembly session.
Whether it deals with the residential transaction, in the commercial space, or property management, we count on YOUR input to make the industry better.
The Public Policy Committee meets on July 15, 2021, so get your ideas in by June 25th for consideration at that meeting. If you have questions or feedback on our advocacy efforts, contact the Government Relations team at advocacy@virginiarealtors.org.
