REMINDER: Don’t Forget About Virginia’s Rent Relief Program
May 18, 2021
The Virginia Rent Relief Program continues to administer funding to renters, and landlords of renters, who have experienced financial difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Hundreds of millions of federal and state dollars have been set aside for the Program.
Eligible tenants and housing providers can receive funds to pay delinquent rent dating back as far as April 1, 2020.
Most housing providers can apply for funds through Virginia Housing. Housing providers in Chesterfield County and Fairfax County need to apply through their local government programs.
