REALTOR^® education is flourishing in Virginia! With a record number of virtual offerings and an expanded calendar for 2021, more Virginia REALTORS^® are continuing their education than ever before. COVID has not slowed down our learning efforts; instead, it has inspired us to be more creative in our offerings and to think outside the box so we could bring members high-quality education no matter where they are. With increased classroom options–virtual, in-person, and on-demand–students can attend a class from their office, living room, or in a local association classroom.

Members now have an opportunity to access a variety of continuing education, business, and career classes. All Virginia REALTORS^® education programs are offered online to accommodate members’ needs and to meet their licensing requirements. From GRI, PM Certified, Professional Standards, and legal education, we have all our members covered! With over 50 classes on the 2021 calendar, there is something for everyone. If you are interested in a special event, we’ve got those too–we’re hosting the PMX Spring Update in May and the VLA Alumni Reunion in August.

In addition to providing excellent education, staff have continued to offer member services to local associations, including Strategic Planning and Leadership Training. We even assisted in hiring several Association Executives during the year, all through utilizing virtual technology.

We met the COVID-19 challenge with creativity, ingenuity, and of course, incredible support from our members. This past year might have changed how Virginia REALTORS^® offers education classes, but we were up to the challenge of providing quality programs our members have come to expect.
