ACT NOW: Ask the Governor to Sign Health Plan Bills into Law
March 6, 2019
Virginia REALTORS® is close to having the ability to offer health insurance to our membership.
Several bills have now passed the Virginia General Assembly that would allow members to obtain affordable health insurance on the large group market. This could provide substantial savings to our members and their families.
In order for this to happen, Governor Northam needs to sign Senate Bill 1689 into law. The Governor has a deadline of March 26, 2019 to act, but he could do so at any time.
More than 7,000 Virginia REALTORS® go without health insurance, largely because it is simply too expensive.
