Barbara Castillo McGrath has been the Professional Development Director at the Fredericksburg Area Association of REALTORS® since 2012, and her duties now also include professional standards, events, and sponsorships. Additionally, Barbara has served the National Association of REALTORS® since 2016 in committees including Professional Development, RCE Advisory Group, Local Education Directors chair, and the 2022-2023 NAR Fair Housing Workgroup that worked together to create the historic addition of a fair housing requirement for all REALTORS® starting in 2025.

As we learn so often when we speak, how you say something is just as important as what is actually said. When it comes to creating content for your members, a similar concept can be applied. This session will offer easy-to-apply strategies for creating and sharing content in ways that your members will benefit from, engage with, and turn to as a trusted source.
Speaker Bio:
In her role with the association, Robin is able to utilize her background in journalism, her education from both Berry College and Virginia Commonwealth University, and her time with the Virginia Department of Education. For Virginia REALTORS®, she develops content for both print and digital platforms. She also directs our association’s media relations, edits our content, and works strategically to make the association’s communications more impactful for members.
