Federal Workforce Shifts: A New Resource for YOUR Clients
February 26, 2025
This week, amid mounting news around the status of federal employees, Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin announced the launch of a robust new website, Virginia Has Jobs. This resource was designed to help connect Virginia’s ample job opportunities with the commonwealth’s workforce.
How Can This Resource Serve REALTORS®?
As a REALTOR®, one of your aims is to be the “source of the source” for your clients, providing them with tools and knowledge to help them successfully navigate the path to homeownership. For many of our members, that client pool includes individuals and families impacted by the federal workforce changes. No matter what stage of the home-buying process your clients may be in, this new website offers a collection of helpful resources.
In addition to job postings, Virginia Has Jobs also supplies details of the Federal Worker Support Resource Package to support Virginians affected by the ongoing changes within the federal workforce.
Support your clients and spread the word that Virginia remains open for business and is making strides to drive further job growth.
Virginia REALTORS® will continue monitoring the impacts of the federal workforce shifts, supplying you with the updates and resources you need to help serve your clients.
