Last week, Virginia REALTORS® joined REALTORS® from across the Nation in Washington, D.C. to network, learn, advocate on behalf of the real estate industry, and celebrate some incredible RPAC milestones!

The Virginia Federal Political Coordinators put together some excellent meetings with members of Virginia’s Congressional Delegation. In fact, Virginia REALTORS® members met with nine out of thirteen of their Congressional Offices! These meetings allowed the opportunity for Virginia Senators and members of Congress to talk with REALTORS® from their districts about the issues that directly impact their business and their clients. These impactful meetings give a familiar face to the industry and the policies that affect it.

Virginia REALTORS® also had the opportunity to celebrate seven newly inducted RPAC Hall of Fame members. The Hall of Fame recognizes dedicated members who have made a significant commitment to RPAC over the years by investing an aggregate lifetime amount of at least $25,000. In addition to those members, we also recognized two members who have reached the $50,000 level of the RPAC Hall of Fame. A list of those members can be found here.

From the halls of the Convention Center to the halls of Government, there was much work accomplished in a short time at our Nation’s Capitol. This visit was proof positive that when REALTORS® Vote, Act, and Invest, they succeed!
