Virginia REALTORS^® held their annual RPAC Awards Ceremony on the evening of January 13, 2022. In 2021, despite the challenging circumstances brought on by the pandemic, Virginia REALTORS^® achieved record-breaking results.

Collectively, as a State Association, major gains were made in member participation. In the past, participation has been a category in which VAR has faced challenges in meeting annual goals. However, in 2021, the REALTORS^® of Virginia joined together and SURPASSED the 2021 goal of 37%! The association ended the year with 38% participation, an exceptional achievement and communal victory. Virginia REALTORS^® also surpassed their goals in both fundraising and Major Investors (those who contribute at least $1,000 annually), highlighting the value Virginia REALTORS^® place in RPAC.

It was also announced that Virginia REALTORS^® has earned NAR’s RPAC Triple Crown Award for the first time. The Triple Crown is given to associations who meet or exceeded their goals in each of the three categories: Overall Fundraising, Overall Participation, and Major Investors. This state-level award will be presented to VAR in May, during NAR’s legislative conference in Washington, D.C.
