PM Certified: Dive into the Lease!

Master your leasing skills and take a deep dive into the Virginia REALTORS® Residential Lease. Learn about landlord and tenant responsibilities from the signing of the lease to its termination. There are lots of ways it can go wrong, so join us in March to discover how to mitigate risk and navigate the leasing process smoothly.
There are two education opportunities for members to take advantage of, including Mastering the Lease and It’s Over When It’s Over. These classes are a part of the PM Certified program, a certification designed specifically for Virginia’s property managers. YOU MUST REGISTER to attend these classes.
Class Descriptions:
It’s Over When It’s Over: March 3rd, 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
What happens when a good relationship experiences turmoil or the parties decide to part ways? This course explores landlord, tenant, and property management responsibilities when navigating a breach of lease or the process of lease termination.
CE/PL Approved: 1 Hour Real Estate Contracts and 3 Hours Real Estate Related for CE; 2 Hours Current Industry Issues/Trends for PL.
Pre-registration is required. This class will be offered virtually.
This course includes an exam that will be provided electronically at the end of the class. Please be prepared to take the exam.
Mastering the Lease: March 24th, 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Master your leasing skills! Take an in-depth look at the residential lease form as well as the addendums to ensure you are providing accurate guidance to your clients. Learn about the landlord’s and tenant’s responsibilities, managing expectations, mitigating risk, and creating a successful working relationship between all parties.
This course has been approved for 1 Hour Contracts and 3 Hours Real Estate Related credit for CE; Not Approved for PL.
