2019 Voter Registration… The Window is Closing!
October 3, 2019
By: Guest Author, Vice President of Political Operations, Anthony Reedy
In Virginia, about 80 percent of people are registered to vote. While more than 88 percent of Virginia REALTORS® are registered to vote, we can still do better.
If you’re not registered to vote or you’ve moved and need to update your registration, the deadline is fast approaching.
Eligible residents can register online on the Virginia Department of Elections website. You can also check your registration status, find out information about voting by absentee ballot, and learn about which candidates will appear on your November 5th ballot.
Our goal is to have 100% of our members registered and at their polling place on Election Day. Register today so you can vote for candidates who support REALTOR® issues and policies that protect your business, your community, and the rights of private property owners.
If you have questions about registering to vote, feel free to email the Government Relations team at advocacy@virginiarealtors.org.
