Boost Your Charitable Efforts with a Grant from NAR
February 7, 2019
Did you know that across the country, nearly 70-percent of REALTORS® are volunteering in their communities each month? Community service is a cornerstone of the REALTOR® commitment, and this data reveals that REALTORS® are stepping up.
NAR is seeking entries for the Volunteering Works Grant and Mentoring Program. Five REALTORS® will be selected as Volunteering Works recipients, benefitting from a year of one-on-one mentoring from a member of NAR’s Good Neighbor Society, along with a $1,000 grant to help implement improvements in their respective community program.
Volunteering Works applicants will be considered based on their personal dedication to volunteering and on the potential for their charitable work to be expanded or improved upon with the help of an expert mentor. NAR says, “Ideal candidates have been active in a charitable project, can identify specific challenges they would like to address with the help of a mentor, and have specific goals for the future of their project.”
The entry deadline for Volunteer Works is Thursday, February 28, 2019.
