Chart test
Testing out our Charts plugin for the website.
Features, Pros & Cons:
- PRO: You can import a CSV file with the data if you follow their template
- CON: These can’t be exported to use in a PDF that they download, they can only exist on the webpage. I can take a screenshot, but they aren’t much better than the graphs you all usually make. But I think they’re good if we just have a one-off article or survey where we want to to show some data.
- CON: I have to manually set the colors every time. Not a huge deal, but I wish you could set a default of nice colors.
Donut Chart
These look pretty cool, the donut might be my favorite chart style.

Bar Chart
These are kinda disappointing – there isn’t an option to change the bar colors or to switch the data from X to Y axis and the labels have to be diagonal like that on the bottom, which I don’t love. CON: it breaks when the browser is at smaller widths… play around with the browser size to see what I mean.

Line Chart
Another strange one where all the colors have to be the same. I think you can add data sets, so maybe those can be different colors … still figuring this one out. CON: it breaks when the browser is at smaller widths… play around with the browser size to see what I mean.

Polar Chart
This might be my second favorite chart style. I like the animation.
