Virginia REALTORS^® held its annual awards ceremony in downtown Richmond on September 20, 2023. The ceremony recognized excellence in various areas of real estate, along with notable community contributions. Awardees were selected by a committee of peers as standouts among our association’s 38,000+ members.

2023 Good Neighbor Awards

Each Good Neighbor honoree receives a $500 award, which will go to the 501(c)(3) non-profit/charity with which the REALTOR^® is involved.

• Clay Murray of the Fredericksburg Area Association of REALTORS^®, volunteering on behalf of Micah Ecumenical Ministries,
• Harry L. Cross III of the Hampton Roads REALTORS^® Association, volunteering on behalf of the Suffolk Christian Fellowship Center,
• Ralph Monaco of the Greater Piedmont REALTORS^®, volunteering on behalf of the Little Fork Volunteer Fire & Rescue Company, and
• Dave & JoAnne Adams of the Northern Virginia Association of REALTORS^®, volunteering on behalf of the Specially Adapted Resource Clubs (SPARC).

A fun moment during the ceremony came when Virginia Housing CEO Susan Dewey surprised Virginia REALTORS^® 2006 Past President Kit Hale with the organization’s Lifetime Supporter award.
