Virginia REALTORS® is pleased to announce that our Chief Economist, Ryan Price, has been appointed to the 2022 Joint Advisory Board of Economists by Governor Youngkin.

The board responsible for reviewing and making recommendations regarding economic assumptions and the economic climate of Virginia, evaluating the economic forecast, preparing the Governor’s annual six-year estimates of anticipated general fund revenues, and to project future fund revenues.

“I am honored and excited to serve the commonwealth on the Joint Advisory Board of Economists,” says Price “I look forward to collaborating with the Governor’s Office, the Office of the Secretary of Finance, Virginia’s Department of Planning and Budget, and my fellow board members on the important tasks ahead.”
