Virginia REALTORS® will be providing Professional Standards training in the virtual Zoom classroom. Classes will be taught by the VAR Legal Team and the training will be available free to members.
This year’s program has been updated to include the new Code of Ethics updates approved by NAR’s Board of Directors in November 2020. With the new Code of Ethics updates also comes a new class structure.
- The training includes a mandatory pre-class assignment and assessment. The pre-class assignment is critical so you will be prepared when you come to class so you can actively participate in the group activities. You must complete the pre-work AND assessment at least three (3) business days prior to the class date. If you do not complete the pre-work and assessment in a timely manner, your registration will be rescheduled for the next available class.
- For members who are new to the grievance and arbitration process, the VAR Legal Team has recorded a video on the basic procedures of Professional Standards. It covers the basics of the grievance and arbitration process and we encourage all members to view the video.
The video and pre-work assignment/assessment link will be sent to you with your class confirmation.
Each course will be held from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. The Zoom link will be sent the day before, and the morning of, class.
