Greater Augusta REALTORS® Donate to Veterans in Need
July 13, 2017
The Greater Augusta Association of REALTORS® is taking action to help injured veterans rebuild their lives. The team recently donated a gift of $1,250 to Homes for Our Troops, a nonprofit whose mission is to provide specially adapted housing for post-9/11 veterans who sustained severe injuries. The Association’s Community Involvement Committee built a model of a house which traveled between brokers’ offices along with brochures on the charity. The project took place over the course of a year, with each office contributing funds.
The generosity of the Greater Augusta REALTORS® will help these veterans obtain a sense of independence in their custom-designed homes, allowing them to focus on recovery.
If you would like to contribute to this important cause, you can make a donation on the Homes for Our Troops website.
