The ceremony recognized excellence in various areas of real estate, along with notable community contributions. Awardees were selected by a committee of peers as standouts among our association’s 35,000+ members.

2024 Good Neighbor Awards

Each Good Neighbor honoree receives a $500 award, which will go to the 501(c)(3) non-profit/charity with which the REALTOR^® is involved.

• Keith Smith of the Charlottesville Area Association of REALTORS^®, volunteering on behalf of Piedmont Community Land Trust,
• Michael Guthrie of the Charlottesville Area Association of REALTORS^®, volunteering on behalf of Abundant Life, and
• Brenda Payne of the Greater Piedmont REALTORS^®, volunteering on behalf of the Marshall Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department

A special moment during the ceremony came when Virginia Housing CEO Tammy Neale surprised Libby Gatewood of the Richmond Association of REALTORS^® with the organization’s second-ever Lifetime Supporter award.
