Based on the 2020 Survey of Home Buyers and Sellers, this report describes how Virginia home buyers research the home buying process, how they find real estate agents, how they finance their purchases, and what they say are their biggest challenges and difficulties. This report highlights the important value REALTORS® bring to the home buying process in Virginia. REALTORS® can use the insights from this report to better meet clients’ needs and exceed their expectations.
