Q: “As a broker, can I require that all offers be submitted on the contract that my firm uses most often? I just want to make sure that my agents are using the form that they know best.”
A: No, you cannot require that offers be on a specific contract. You may, with the permission of your client, counter any offer that comes in on a different contract with your preferred form. However, you are required to submit all offers to your client, regardless of what form those offers take. You may also indicate a preference for a certain form in the MLS listing.
