Jay Mitchell announces Sherry Maser as 2027 VAR President

Virginia REALTORS^® proudly announces that Sherry Maser of the Coastal Virginia Association of REALTORS^®  has been installed as the association’s 2027 President. The installation ceremony took place on the evening of September 16, 2026, in Williamsburg, as part of VAR’s annual convention.

Sherry is a lifelong Chesapeake resident and highly respected real estate leader who has built a distinguished career serving the Hampton Roads region as a full-time REALTOR^®. Her experience spans residential sales, new construction, brokerage leadership, and industry service. Sherry currently serves as a Managing Broker for Howard Hanna Real Estate Services and is licensed in both Virginia and North Carolina.

Throughout her career, she has earned numerous awards recognizing her sales achievements, customer service excellence, and professional leadership. A dedicated advocate for the real estate industry, Sherry has held leadership roles at the local, state, and national levels, including serving as President of the Hampton Roads REALTORS^® Association and Treasurer and Vice President of Virginia REALTORS^®. She is also a graduate of the Virginia Leadership Academy and a founding member and first President of the Southeastern Virginia Network of the Women’s Council of REALTORS^®.

Known for her commitment to professional standards, leadership development, and REALTOR^® advocacy, Sherry continues to be a respected voice within the real estate community across Virginia and beyond.
