Q: “I’ve heard some talk about a change that the EPA made to the lead-based paint pamphlet. Is there anything I should know as a PM about that change?” 

A: The Environmental Protection Agency (or EPA) updated their pamphlet as of May 1st of this year. However, the changes to the pamphlet just reflect some changes to dust-lead levels that were effective on January 12th of this year. If you provide an electronic link to the pamphlet for your tenants, then the link is automatically updated, and you don’t need to do anything different. If you previously provided a printed pamphlet, there is a link for a supplement that you can give your tenants. You could also click the link to access the updated PDF for printing purposes.
