Shavon graduated from VCU in 2011 and began her career in government, working closely with the Virginia State Police in an investigative unit. She later joined the United States Air Force Reserve, where she served in an administrative role for a security forces unit. Realizing her true passion lay in the legal field rather than law enforcement, she pursued further education at the University of Richmond, graduating in 2021. Shavon then joined the Richmond City Attorney’s Office, focusing on special litigation for delinquent sales tax as part of the Tax Sale team, before transitioning to her role at Virginia REALTORS^®.

Shavon and her husband have two beautiful kids. She loves spending time with her family, watching a good movie, traveling, and eating Italian, soul food or seafood.
