This week, Virginia REALTORS^® 2020 Past President Kemper Funkhouser was elected Chair of the Virginia Real Estate Board (VREB). 

Kemper has a long history of service in the real estate industry. In addition to serving as 2020 President of Virginia REALTORS^®, he served as 2019 President-Elect, 2018 Vice President, and was a member of the Board of Directors from 2011 – 2021. In 2021, Kemper was selected as the Virginia REALTOR^® of the Year.

For the National Association of REALTORS^®, Kemper has served as both Chair and Vice Chair of the Professional Standards Committee.  In 2009, he was recognized by his local association, the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Association of REALTORS^®, as their REALTOR^® of the Year, having also served as the association’s President.
