2024 Realtist Week: April 7th-13th, 2024
March 28, 2024
One of the most important times of the year for the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB) is Realtist Week, held one week every April. Founded in 1947, NAREB is the oldest minority professional trade association in the Nation, and its members are called Realtists. Realtist Week is a time for members to come together and further demonstrate their commitment to democracy in housing. They host various events with partners and throughout their communities, educating and empowering attendees to aid in the goal of increasing Black homeownership. This year, Realtist Week is Sunday, April 7th to Saturday, April 13th, 2024.
Each of NAREB’s five strategic areas will have corresponding events during the week. Those pillars are:
- Women Investing in Real Estate (WIRE)
- Generational Wealth Building
- Faith-Based and Civic Engagement
- Diversity and Inclusion/Small Business
- Government Relations/Advocacy
With three NAREB Chapters in Virginia—located in Hampton Roads, the greater Richmond area, and Northern Virginia—there will be Realist Week events to attend all over the state. Check out each individual Chapter’s events for more information!
Thank you, and Happy Realtist Week!
