NFIP Extension Signifies HUGE win for REALTORS®
October 11, 2023
Following a rare nationwide call to action, Congress passed a deal to avert a government shutdown and extend the authority of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP).
What we know is that a lapse of the NFIP would disrupt both the purchase and renewal of flood insurance in more than 20,000 communities nationwide. A bad situation for REALTORS® and their clients!
Crisis averted.
REALTORS® across the Nation responded to the Call for Action, alerting their lawmakers about the negative impact a government shutdown would have on the real estate industry.
